Carbon steel plate is an iron-carbon alloy material with carbon as the main alloying element, and its carbon content is usually 0.0218%-2.11%.

1.Low carbon steel (carbon content ≤ 0.25%): excellent plasticity, toughness and welding performance.
2.Medium carbon steel (0.25%-0.60%): has both strength and toughness.
3.High carbon steel (carbon content ≥ 0.60%): high hardness but low plasticity.

Size range and application areas

1. Thin plate (0.5-4mm): used for electronic components and automotive parts.

2. Medium and thick plate (4-20mm): building structure, machinery manufacturing.

3. Thick plates (≥20mm): ships, heavy equipment.
